OPS- Laboratory Technician

• Autoclaving plasticware, glassware, LB, and water
• Making LB and LB agar plates
• Unpacking and organizing supplies, checking their levels, and letting a postdoc know so that orders can be placed
• Cleaning common bench areas, water bath, and certain designated equipment
• Work hours are flexible between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Flexible Hours
• Ability to work a minimum of 10-12 hours a week (3 or 4 times a week and each time 2-4 hours).
• Assignment length may range up to 4-5 months

 $21.00 hourly

Associate’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization or a high school diploma and two years of related experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Currently attending a college and living in the nearby geographical area (Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens)
