The Faculty of Engineering & Science is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich, split across two campuses – the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent, and the Greenwich Campus in Greenwich, London. Dedicated to inspirational learning, combining teaching with work placements and impactful research and is a complete hub for all STEM subjects within the University.
We are seeking to appoint someone with a background in resource and procurement administration, to join our growing Professional Services Team, as Faculty Resources and Procurement Officer.
The role will be required to support resource and procurement activities for the faculty, raising requisitions and providing procurement services within a technical/scientific environment, ensuring compliance against University HR, Finance, and Procurement regulations.
Applicants should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, be organised with attention to detail, and have experience of accurate and efficient record keeping.
The role would suit someone with procurement/financial administration experience, preferably within a technical or science based environment, with the ability to organise their own work and meet tight deadlines.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to be based at either our Medway or Greenwich campuses, reporting to the Faculty Resources and Procurement Manager and working closely with other members of the Professional Services Team.
