Offer DescriptionThe position is offered in the context of the “SEIZMIC” Doctoral Network, based on a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) grant. The goals of this position are to contribute to the seizmic project and to allow the candidate to pursue a PhD degree. Planned start: 1st February 2025 (contingent upon the receipt of funding).The PhD project is part of a network of 15 doctoral theses which all contribute to the overall goal of understanding social entrepreneurship (SE) scaling. This particular PhD thesis contributes to work package 5 (WP 5) on “Digital Eco-systems and use of Artificial Intelligence”. It focuses on “AI’s Role in Fostering and Integrating Social Entrepreneurship in Innovation Ecosystems.”Topic: AI’s Role in Fostering and Integrating Social Entrepreneurship in InnovationEcosystems.”

• Participation in research work in collaboration with the main supervisor.

Data collection and analysis, through interviews, surveys, experiments, secondarydata.Dissemination of research findings in form of a doctoral thesis (3-5 articles inrecognized scientific journals), through presentations at international conferencesand to the public. * Contribution to project management and project deliverables of WP 5.Support of Innovation & Entrepreneurship team administration.PHD PROGRAMME INNSBRUCKThe PhD position further requires the admission and participation at the PhD Proramme Management. Further information see: – of-management/REQUIRED SECONDMENTSAs required by the MSCA guidelines, the candidate will have an academic secondment at CBS (Copenhagen Business School) and will also have a non-academic secondment with a third- party organization (e.g., impact incubator, accelerator, social enterprise, company, association).APPLICATION REQUIREMENTSA master’s degree in entrepreneurship, innovation management, business, management, or a related discipline which qualifies for admission to the PhD program at Innsbruck University. • According to the MSCA mobility requirements, candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Austria for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the recruitment date.

Profile/Skills: strong interest and motivation in the topic, high analytical and research capabilities, team player, hard-working, excellent proficiency in English and preferably German; at least basic knowledge in R, Python, Google Colab, some publications.REQUIRED APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
