Motor Vehicle Operator I

Provides daily delivery of client supplies and pick-up of specimens and ensures all samples are handled, stored and transported at proper temperatures (ambient, refrigerated & frozen) following all department safety and OSHA guidelines. 

Maintains assigned vehicle in proper working condition assuring all maintenance, safety and required equipment are compliant with department guidelines.

 Provide and/or arranges for appropriate maintenance of department vehicle(s) and coordinates for coverage or back up vehicle. 

Create and maintain routing program with up to date client, address and stop requirements as new clients use our services. Create and maintain database (excel spreadsheet) of stops, mileage, start and end times.

Ensures all clients are receiving result reports, supplies and satisfaction of service with each and every stop.

 Fills client supply orders on a daily basis and meets a 24 hours turn-around on consumables and 48 hours for printed material. As directed by manager, assists new hire training, safety, policy and procedures.

$16.00 – $16.50 per hour

Completion of ninth grade and possession of a classified driver license may be required bases on the type of vehicle operated
