| Research Positions at the Extremal Combinatorics and Probability Group The IBS Extremal Combinatorics and Probability Group (ECOPRO) in Daejeon, South Korea invites applications for research fellowship positions. We are hiring up to 1 senior researchers: 2+possible 3-year extension. 2 postdocs (within 5 years after PhD): 2+possible 1-year extension. Deadline: November 30th, 2022, until 18:00 KST ECOPRO is a research group that was established in April 1st, 2022 at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS), led by Prof. Hong Liu. ECOPRO is located at the headquarters of the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in Daejeon, South Korea, a city of 1.5 million people. We are looking for candidates with outstanding research potential in all fields of combinatorics with emphasis on extremal and probabilistic combinatorics, graph theory, discrete geometry, Ramsey theory and combinatorial number theory. This appointment is for two years with a starting salary no less than 57,000,000 KRW. The appointment is one time renewable contingent upon the outstanding performance of the researcher. The expected appointment date is April 1st, 2023 (flexible). This is a purely research position and will have no teaching duties.
